As one of the main functions of WordPreciousss is coming in WordPress 2.7 (allowing template files in Child Themes), I’ve decided to break the plugin up into smaller plugins and one theme (to rule them all (??)).
The plugin has a lot of code that easily can be redone to smaller plugins; you can have the global templates plugins, precious skinner, precious theme switcher.
So I will discontinue to develop WordPreciousss in it’s current state, and I will probably move everything to it’s own site on wordpreciousss.org.
But feel free to download the current version to teach yourself to play with Child Themes.

I’m testing out your Basic2Col theme with a child theme idea. It’s a nice, clean starting point. Can’t wait for WP 2.7 to come out fully tested & debugged, I’ve heard nothing but great things about it so far. Later…

I’m not sure when I’ll be able to have everything ready, but hopefully around the time 2.7 comes along.
I’m still playing with some of the ideas I have, - but unfortunately I don’t have so much time on my hands that I used to.
